Get the Word Out

Blah, Blah, Blah: Making Sense of the World's Spiritual Chatter releases to the public April Fool's Day, 2006.

That makes the whole project a sort of fool's errand into which I'd like to enlist you.

I'm looking to spark some small fires in the driest tinder I can find.

  • As best I can tell, the driest tinder for my book is people who are working with young people who'll see the need for simplified worldview education.
  • The next driest tinder is 16- to 30-year-olds who are in the midst of massive pluralism and are trying to figure out how Christian faith fits in to all that.
  • The next driest tinder is over 30s and parents.

You can help get the word out (start some word-of-mouth wildfires) by helping get this book into the hands of those who need it most. Here's what you can do:

  1. Check out this website.
  2. Tell your dry tinder friends about the website and the book. You can download the "Announcing the Release" flyer and print it off or send by email to your friends.
  3. Join the Blah Community and sign up for the Buzzard Newsletter.
  4. Pre-order a few copies of the book at amazon.com or at your local bookstore. Give them as graduation gifts to high school seniors. Or, high school juniors and college students you might know. Or, high school or college youth workers you know. If you don't know anybody that young, how about anyone under 30?
  5. Pray for God's favor on this project.
